Marcin Rozpedski
Marcin was born in Warsaw, Poland coming to United States as a young boy. He spent most of his tennis training at the Van Der Meer Tennis Academy in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. At the age of 18, he won the Polish National Championship and became number one in Poland. In 1994 and 1995, he played in the Davis Cup for Poland as well as all major tennis tournaments around the World. In 1995, his professional career came to halt when he fell ill with malaria. Marcin settled in the desert while playing college tennis at College of the Desert and UCLA, which commenced his teaching career. His vast accomplishments include the 2016 US Open and National Pickleball Champion, Head Tennis Pro at The Ritz Carlton Hotel, Indian Ridge Country Club, Head Tennis Coach for College of the Desert, traveling with Ana Ivanovic as she won the French Open Championship, serving as the hitting partner for Victoria Azarenka as she became number one in the World.

Glenda Servia
Glenda joined The Lakes Country Club in 2013 as the Fitness Supervisor having previously worked seven years as the Fitness Director at The Club at Morningside in Rancho Mirage. She received her masters’ degree in Exercise Physiology/Fitness Management from Humboldt State University. Her graduate work primarily focused on aging, but her masters thesis focused on balance and fall prevention in men and women age 65+ years. Her previous professional experience was six years at Mt. Shasta Physical Therapy Clinic as a Rehabilitation Specialist. She also taught as an adjunct California Community College instructor for 18 years in the physical education department at College of The Siskiyou’s in Northern California. Glenda’s lifelong passion has been to help others improve their fitness, balance and mobility and general health. Glenda and her fiancée Kip spend some of their free time playing ‘in fitness’ with their nine grandchildren.
 
Physical Therapist
Stephanie Rehe
Stephanie was born and raised here in beautiful Southern California. With a love for tennis and a successful junior tennis career, she turned professional at the US Open at 15 ½ years of age. Stephanie played on the WTA tour for about 10 years with her highest world ranking of #10 in the world in singles and in doubles. Stephanie retired from professional tennis at 23 years of age with career ending injuries. With countless hours spent rehabilitating from tennis injuries, Stephanie decided to pursue a career in physical therapy in hopes of helping others. Stephanie has her Masters (2000) and Doctoral Degrees (2001) in physical therapy from Loma Linda University. She is also a Certified Athletic Trainer and has worked as an independent contractor for the USTA on their Pro Circuit Series Events for 9 years. Stephanie opened her own private orthopedic physical therapy clinic here at The Lakes Country Club Fitness Center in 2007.
