Cynthia Ley
Cynthia is the Senior Accountant for The Lakes Country Club, which provides administrative and accounting support for the Club. Cynthia began working at The Lakes Country Club in 2011 in the Food & Beverage Department and moved her way up through the organization holding positions in the administration department as both an administrative assistant and accounts payable administrator. She truly enjoys her work environment at The Lakes Country Club and appreciates the relationships she has developed with both the membership and co-workers. She is passionate about her 3 children and enjoys making them happy in her spare time. Cynthia majored in communications at Cal State San Marcos and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
Accounts Receivable Administrator
Lizette Alvarado
Lizette, an expert in resolving Member billing inquiries, is the Accounts Receivable Administrator for The Lakes Country Club. She began her career as the Administrative Assistant in the Facilities Maintenance department in 1999 and in early 2000 she transferred to the Administration office. In 2002, she was promoted to the Accounts Receivable position. Lizette values the relationships she has made with employees, members and their pets. In her spare time, Lizette enjoys watching her boys play varsity football and soccer. Lizette holds an Associate’s Degree in General Business.
Accounts Payable Administrator
Paula Bates
Paula began her first year at The Lakes in November 2016 as the Accounts Payable Administrator. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge in country club accounting. Paula has an extensive background as a fuel manager for an alternative energy power plant and business manager for a large general contractor whose work included dams, freeways, wharves and piers. She also worked as a consultant for an energy company in Northern California. Paula resides in La Quinta with her daughter, Alisha, and spoiled rescue dog, Bailey. A retired tennis player, our beautiful racquet facility at The Lakes is calling her to get back in the game.
