Misako was born and raised in Japan. She worked as a Medical Technologist at Chubu National Hospital for 10 years before moving to the United States in 1996. Shortly after her move, Misako discovered her passion for wellness and became a dual-licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician.
In 2005, she graduated from California Beauty College and gained valuable experience working at prestigious establishments, including Mission Hills Country Club Spa, The Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage, and La Quinta Resort & Club, a Waldorf Astoria Resort. Misako is trained in various skincare product lines, such as Eminence, Babor, HydroPeptide, SkinCeuticals, Osmosis, and Epicuren. She is also skilled in advanced skincare techniques, including HydraFacial MD, LED light therapy, and microdermabrasion.
As a certified Massage Therapist, Misako is passionate about helping clients relieve pain and discomfort. She specializes in Therapeutic Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Reflexology, Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, and HydraFacial treatments. Her expertise lies in identifying tight spots and using trigger point therapy to ease tension effectively.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Misako continues to attend massage courses to enhance her skills and learn new modalities. Recently, she completed courses in acupressure and Thai massage, and she is excited to incorporate these techniques into her spa services.
Outside of work, Misako enjoys playing golf with her husband. They have two children: Jennifer, 24, who is a nurse in Irvine, and Scott, 22, who is graduating soon with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Arizona State University.
